Productivity: 6.5/10

There were some personal factors in my life that acted as a psychological blocker for me to continue logging my progress recently. I hope/believe I have overcome them. Rest assured, I have been productive even though I have not logged all of my activity during the past few weeks. I am also highly considering adding new types of things to this log such as dietary and social updates. Stay tuned!

Finished Chapter 7 of Mastering Bitcoin.

Audio/Video

Judge Napolitano on Kavanaugh, and the Court’s Worst Decisions – Tom Woods Show. Great Episode — probably not evergreen, though! It’s interesting to get a glimpse inside the life and mind of Judge Nap.

Episode 008 – On the Trigger- Cody Wilson – YOUR WELCOME (I listened to the Audio via the podcast feed)

Misc.

Made steak following the instructions in the article from yesterday’s log. It turned out pretty well, but I need to get a cooling rack and practice the execution a bit.

It may seem like I did less today than usual, but Chapter 7 is the 2nd-3rd longest chapter in the book. I also, based on yesterday’s reflection, posted this earlier in the day. I want to make a semi-automated process for posting these templates and then filling them out later. I have to put some thought into this…
Also please note that the timestamps are messed up on the previous logs because I had everything set to UTC+0. Going forward things should be accurate.

Read part of Chapter 7 of Mastering Bitcoin. Also went back and read a section from Chapter 6 I accidentally skipped over while switching from paperback to kindle.

Audio/Video

Getting Your Money Out Of The Banking Sector Through Whole Life Insurance – Cashflow Connections

Coda Protocol: Using ZK-SNARKS For A Constant-Size Blockchain – the epicenter interview was better

Novogratz Talks Cryptocurrencies and Regulation – not something I would normally watch, but it autoplayed on YouTube and kept my attention. Interesting to hear his perspective on things.

Articles

The Food Lab: The Reverse Sear Is the Best Way to Cook a Steak, Period – and yes, I bought some steak today as well.

Today’s log was slightly rushed, I need to allocate a set amount of time for this before bed.

Finished reading Chapter 6 of Mastering Bitcoin

Almost finished Chapter 3 of Rules for Radicals on Audible — unfortunately, my kindle keeps glitching and it I lose my progress in the book. I will have to find my spot once I wish to resume listening.

Audio/Video

Speculating vs InvestingCashflow Connections Podcast (my friend is the host so I enjoy checking in on this from time to time — but it’s also a great podcast on its own merits)

Socialists and Other IngratesTom Woods Show. Big fan of the show, but this didn’t contain much original content. It was a speech from MisesU, which I wish I attended this year (especially after seeing how many of my friends were attending).

CodaEpicenter. Very interesting cryptocurrency project about which I’ve heard great things. Interested to see where this will go and if it will work.

MetamodernismZero Squared. I only half listened to this. I am interested in this topic but wasn’t in the mood to pay deep attention. I may revisit at a later time.

Misc.

Read bits of this reddit thread and document discussing grouping on BCH and Tokeda.

This isn’t a comprehensive list of everything I worked on or studied, but it is certainly the highlights. I probably won’t ever list everything. I thought I would add this disclaimer since this is my first post on this log.
